Independent Laboratory Testing

Testing completed at various medical and diagnostic laboratories have concluded that Biocidin® LSF and Olivirex® have anti-pathogenic effects across a broad spectrum of common disease causing microbes including bacteria and fungi. Biocidin® LSF has also shown excellent support against biofilms. Disk Diffusion (Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test)

A common laboratory test of antibiotics and natural antimicrobials is to incorporate the agent into paper disks which are placed onto a growth media in which the bacteria or fungus have been added. The bacteria or fungi grow in a mat all over the petri dish, yet where they are inhibited by an antimicrobial agent, they are unable to grow.

Areas of no growth are obvious and show as clear areas or circles. Bigger circles equate to a more potent antimicrobial agent. This is how antibiotics are commonly tested against bacteria to see if the antibiotic works or not.
